Joe`s Italian Pizza in Springfield

Tender but crunchy crust with a great sauce and lots of cheese. It's one of our favorites! Not at all fancy just really good pizza!

I have been going to Joe's for 32 years. Love this place and the owner Jeff.

Since 1976 Joe's has been the favorite pizza of many in Springfield. Eat in or carry out Jeff and the crew have been serving my family's favorite pizza and pasta in Springfield. No frills, no bar, no slots, no beer it is the perfect family spot for after a game, class or just to sit and talk. The first stop my kids maje when they come from college and a surprise for anyone who has never eaten there. It is great food and a fair price. Call ahead and find out the wait the get busy on game nights but Wednesday and Thursday seem to be the quietest if you are looking to stay. My wife's favorite is onion and sausage, but I love the Rigatoni with meatballs it sausage link on top.Don't forget to click like if the review helps

Joe's Pizza is a joke I have always ordered from them, not anymore. I ordered 3 small pizzas and a baked mostaccoli. I got home and one of my pizzas literally had 2 pieces of sausage on it. The woman that answered the phone, told me to bring it back and they would replace it. I live on the opposite side of town. I already had to wait 40 minutes, got there and still had to wait for 7 minutes for someone to ask me, if I had been helped. Will never support this establishment again. Sam's Pizza is better anyway.

Decent food at a decent price. The restaurant is small so, I suggest take out.

I just got home with our order. We spent $80 tonight. They didn't give us our half cheese half meat lovers pizza. It was full meat lovers. I live out of town so now my kids don't get pizza for dinner. We called and told them and the girl on the phone said it was our fault and that she read the order to us. They said they aren't going to do anything about it. I've been coming here for 20 plus years. I am done with them. So glad I spent $80 on pizza here just tonight. Never again. Thanks for ruining our dinner.

Very disappointing. I had heard how wonderful the pizza is here, but I don't think so at all! Long wait for mediocre pizza. Crust thick and couldn't cut with fork since on foam plate. There are too many other locally owned pizza restaurants in Springfield that make excellent pizza to come here.

This is one of my favorite pizzas in Springfield. Excellent sausage and pepperoni.

Visiting Springfield, wanted to eat pizza, and invited by my son, I went there, having lived in Springfield until I was 20, never had pizza there, 1st slice I was amazed it was really good, service was friendly etc. One thing I did notice is that they've out lasted everyone else that I use get pizza from. For sure come back again. Can you all send me a pri-bake ???

Best pizza in central Illinois. Amazing pasta and po’boys. Great staff. Joes is a staple of Springfield. The place hasn’t changed since my childhood, it’s got a little wear, but still in great shape!!! The food is second to none!! Sausage, get the Sausage!!

Joe's is the best pizza in town, according to me. The crust is crispy on the bottom, and soft on the top. The sauce is top quality, the sausage is unforgettable!! Honestly if you live in springfield and haven't tried Joes, shame on you. Nice local family owned, have kept their prices very low all these years. Definitely try a Joes pizza and get sausage on it, you will love it too!

Some of the best pizza in Springfield

They have really good affordable pizza but the wait just takes a while I even called ahead they told me 35min so i knew it was estimated i came five min past the time they told me and was still waiting for another 20min i would have give them more stars if it wasn't for the wait time. But the food is really good.

1 of the best pizzas around. The sandwiches are great as well. The prices are very low, especially in relation to quality! The owners are nice also. We love this place very much. My family eats here several times a month.

We've been eating here for 20+ years now and the food is great! LORD willing ... we'll be eating w/them as long as the doors are open and ovens hot. Fish on!

I phoned in at 4:05 p.m for a pickup, they told me it would be ready by 5. I got there at 4:53 and still had to wait for more than 20 minutes. That's all good, but it was a shock Shan i got home and grabbed a piece to eat it as i was starving from not eating all day. I took a bite and it tasted really funny. I looked at it and realized i bit into a mushroom. I'm allergic to mushrooms and spit it out. Not certain if i can or should eat any more of it after picking the mushrooms off. Decided not to risk it and ended up throwing an emergency Jack's frozen pizza in the oven. Shoulda just saved the 15 bucks and threw the Jack's In, in the first place.

They carry thick crust and put their ingredients under the cheese. Didn't like their sauce much but overall it was pretty good. Carryout place with large dining area.

Best pizza in Springfield!

The service was absolutely terrible. The waitress scooted around wearing flip flops, which is disgusting. She came to our table very few times during our time spent there. The food took quite awhile just to get to our table. Once we had our food, mine was burnt and aluminum foil was stuck to my food. Health code violations were everywhere. Never coming back. It was unbelievable.

Pretty consistent quality and the prices are super reasonable

They hand make their crust and shred their own cheese. All the best fresh ingredients is what makes their food the best!
